Senior Specialist Business Analyst becomes part of the team that is accountable for P&O IT landscape. He/She works closely with customers in P&O services to analyze the technology demand and converts them into solution and oversee the delivery end to end. This role contributes is part of the team that contributes to the organization's strategy and implements objectives with technology strategy development, solution discovery, service, risk and relationship management. He/She will be analyzing the process gaps, technology requirements and shape them into projects in accordance with Architecture standards and IT and P&O objectives.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute and/support aspects of planning, design, development and delivery of system solutions for P&O, in alignment with design and architectural standards and business requirements.
- Identify and qualify new IT demands at early stages and see through shaping it into IT project
- Understanding business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Ensure enhancements and projects are delivered in compliant manner according to Novartis accepted methodologies and practices.
- Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations for technology decisions including business case creation and financial assumptions
- Identify gaps and technology debts and include this into the IT roadmap
- Develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments
- Serves as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues and decisions

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sc. or IT related field or technical discipline and/or relevant
- HR Service management technology experience is welcome
- Experience in HRIS technology environment (ex. ServiceNow, HCM, Workday, Cornerstone on demand, LMS, LxP, other.) is welcome
- Experience with Business Analytics techniques (BABOK or similar), Project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is welcome
- Knowledge of IT product management and IT product lifecycle
- Professional level of English both written and spoken

- Awareness of ITIL practices
- Relationship Management and escalation resolution
