We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Specialist to help support the Senior Finance Business Partner for the Country, therefore contributing to the continuous support of Merkle operations here in Czech Republic. The ideal candidate would have excellent organisational and communication skills and possess knowledge of the main local finance specifics and legislation.- Work closely with Senior Finance Business Partner
- Support with all Merkle’s obligations towards government institutions
- Be that main point of contact for those governmental institutions
- Support for finance related matters within the country
- Support with onboarding and offboarding of suppliers and monitoring their adherence to Merkle processes
- Supporting the preparation of management reports
- Liaising with central finance team
- Occasional communication directly with the Merkle clients
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Knowledge of Czech Republic accounting specifics and legislation
- Basic Understanding of corporate finance
- Native or excellent knowledge of the Czech language (due to regular communication with the government)
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Organisational skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, but also within a team
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience in an international business environment is an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 is an advantage
